Optional Dive Injury (Treatment) Insurance

As a renewing member it is important that you consider your diving needs for the next 12-months to ensure you are adequately covered. We encourage you to take a few minutes to review each of the optional Dive Injury (Treatment) Insurance Plans.

IMPORTANT: Dive Injury Insurance is an optional addition to your DAN Membership. It can only be purchased at the time of renewing your DAN Membership and cannot be changed throughout your
12-month coverage period.

DAN Membership includes Worldwide Emergency Evacuation but does not cover treatment costs.

Adding on a level of optional Dive Injury Insurance provides coverage for treatment and certain other costs associated with covered dive accidents.

Do You Want To Add Optional Dive Injury (Treatment) Insurance To Your Membership?

If you select “Yes” each of the Dive Injury Insurance policies will be explained. You will then be able to select the level of protection that meets your needs on the application form.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Any signs or symptoms that appear within 24 to 48 hours of diving should be suspected of being diving-related.
It is important to get specialist diving medical advice as soon as possible and not to dive again until this is done. Call a DAN-supported diving emergency hotline for advice.
