Disclaimer

Members should note the following:

  • DAN Asia-Pacific has created the Emergency Medical Database in good faith with the intention of enhancing the level of assistance that can be provided to a Member in the event of a medical emergency.
  • It should be noted that while DAN Asia-Pacific will do its best to ensure that this information is available in the event of an emergency it cannot guarantee that this will be the case.
  • DAN Asia-Pacific cannot take responsibility for information that has been incorrectly entered by a Member. It is each Member's responsibility to ensure that all information provided is accurate. Once entered information is locked.
  • Data pertaining to a Member will be removed once membership ceases. Information collected is housed on a password-protected server.
  • DAN Asia-Pacific employees do not alter/view/access any of the information stored on the Emergency Medical Database. Information will only be accessed in the event of a medical emergency (the sole purpose for which such information has been collected).
  • If a Member requires a change to personal information stored on the database the Member is required to lodge a new EMD registration. In addition the Member needs to send an email to DAN AP (training@danasiapacific.org) confirming that you have replaced your existing EMD registration.
  • By choosing to enter your medical information on the database you are permitting DAN Asia-Pacific to access your information in the event of a medical emergency involving yourself.
