Emergency Procedures
As divers, we hope to never find ourselves in need of emergency medical assistance as a result of a diving accident. However, our statistics highlight that accidents do happen, even to the most experienced divers. So the aim of this section is to provide Members with the information that will prepare you for the unexpected.
We recommend that you print off these emergency procedures so that you, or someone on your behalf, will know what to do (step-by-step) and who to call in your time of need. Remember the Emergency Medical Hotline Numbers are also provided on your DAN Membership Card and Certificate, on your ID Tag (if you have one), as well as within Alert Diver Magazine.
